Finding a Safe Waterbottle
Setting aside, for the moment, issues of the environmental impact of 28 billion single use bottles of water being used each year, there are other reasons for paying attention to what holds that water you’re drinking. The folks over at The Good Human have provided a brief write up on: How To Choose A Safe Reusable Water Bottle.
Why does this matter? Because the plastics used in prepackaged water bottles “has been proven to leach DEHP (Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate)” which doesn’t sound like something we want to be drinking much of. Even the common “hard plastic” polycarbonate bottles “leach BPA, a synthetic hormone that can mimic estrogen and cause prostate cancer.”
Better choices look like an aluminum or stainless steel water bottle. For specific brands and more details, go read the rest: How To Choose A Safe Reusable Water Bottle.

If you think water bottles are bad, wait til you discover the harmful effects of flouride. Have you ever asked yourself what is flouride and why do I need it? Because the dentist says that he fights tooth decay. Well chemotherapy fights cancer cells, but as most people know that is only the first part of the story. One of the most active research areas today is fluoride's ability to damage your brain and its normal functions. Recent human studies from China have confirmed the results of previous animal studies; that elevated fluoride exposure leads to reduced I.Q. in children. Do your own research and you will learn that drinking water is not all that drinkable.
