Blind Bowler - Perfect Game

Photo of Dale Davis with bowling ball Dale Davis bowled a perfect game, which is impressive for anyone. Given that Davis is 78 makes it more impressive, but that's nothing compared to the fact that Davis is legally blind. Yes, as The Storm Lake Times reports in “Alta’s Blind Bowler Rolls Perfect Game,” Davis scored a perfect 300 despite being legally blind.

Talking after the game, Davis explains:

“After I went blind, I just assumed it wouldn’t happen,” he said of the doubts he had. “I always knew I wanted to have a 300, but I never thought it would be possible, especially as I got older and couldn’t see. Bowling rejuvenated me. I’ve got a love for this game I can’t even describe.”
