Belated Valentine?

Valentine’s Day - The Herald, illustrated by Walter Crane and Kate Greenaway Did you miss Valentine’s Day? No fear, the Chronicle of Higher Education’sWired Campus” is reporting on something that might help (“You Forgot Valentine's Day. No Need to Fret.”) The University of British Columbia’s Library Vault which uses images from their special collections to create Valentine’s Day electronic greeting cards.

Some of the images are pretty nice. How does it work? The Library Vault explains:


Send a Virtual e-Postcard

It’s easy, just follow the 4 simple steps!

After writing your message, you can preview the card, edit and then send it. Once the card is sent, the recipient will receive an e-mail advising where to find his/her Virtual Postcard. To protect your privacy, the card is stored in a non-indexed directory so that only you and the recipient are able to view it.

So, if you missed it, maybe it’s not too late for Valentine’s Day.
