The life of a water bottle
NPR is reporting on the life of a water bottle. The Poland Spring company uses PET (polyethylene terephthalate) a non-renewable product of natural gas and petroleum, however, the PET bottles can be recycled. And apparently, they can bring in quite a bit of money, which leads to about 40 percent of recycled bottles in the US end up being sold to China. To find out more, you can visit NPR and view some pictures of the process, read more, or listen to the story.
