Today in History: All Things Considered
Today is the 35th anniversary of All Things Considered on NPR. Started on May 3, 1971, you can listen to the first broadcast of All Things Considered (part of the 30th anniversary celebration). What exactly is All Things Considered? As they describe it:
For two hours every weekday, All Things Considered hosts Robert Siegel, Michele Norris and Melissa Block present the program's trademark mix of news, interviews, commentaries, reviews and offbeat features.
You can check out previous shows or check out today's show, and usually read short articles about the stories, and usually stream the stories themselves. You can even grab the All Things Considered RSS feed.
