Diet Coke and Mentos?
Diet Coke and Mentos? Ok, this clearly falls into the category: "This is not recommended!" However, since it's made its way even onto NPR, what is the idea? Drop a roll of Mentos into a two liter of Diet Coke as quickly as possible, preferably while running the other direction.
The result? The Diet Coke shoots 10+ feet into the air. Don't want to believe it? Check out the video at NPR, or the over 100 (and counting) video's on google video. Of course, the quality of these videos is an entirely different issue...
